Did you know that you can go whitewater rafting just ONE HOUR from Sacramento? That’s right – we offer rafting trips during the entire summer season down the American River, one of the most popular whitewater rivers in the USA! The South Fork is the most accessible experience, with THREE unique trips – the best choice for people of any ability looking to get splashed by churning water!

We have THREE rafting experiences down the South Fork. For half-day trips, we offer runs down the Chilli Bar on the Upper South Fork and also the ever-popular the Gorge, on the Lower South Fork. However… if you’re REALLY looking for one of the most unforgettable days of your life, we recommend the FULL experience! Combine both half-day trips for the whole-day South Fork and crash down the rapids with us for 21 one miles of fun and adventure.

For those looking to up the ante, the Middle Fork trip is the way to do it. Get ready to bounce through one of the USA’s most famous rapids in the ‘Tunnel Chute’ – an actual tunnel left over from the gold rush days! (Note – availability on this trip is highly limited on weekends, so weekdays might be your best bet.) The North Fork experience is also one that you’ll remember for decades to come – but hurry because we only run this trip in Spring and it’s first come first serve!
