What to Expect on Your North Fork Rafting Adventure

2016-07-24-12-38-15

We’ll meet up behind the Raley’s supermarket, at the arranged meeting time. We’ll get all the waivers signed and drive about 30 minutes to the launch site. Then we’ll set you up with your helmet, paddle & personal flotation device. Next, the head guide will deliver a short safety briefing to the group, and once you’re assigned a raft guide you can head down to water.

This is our most scenic run and you’ll be cruising through an impressive gorge with breathtaking scenery and exciting whitewater. This combination makes it the perfect rafting experience.

Epic Whitewater... and Then a Delicious Lunch!

You’ll get continuous whitewater excitement on this trip so be prepared to get straight into it and hang on tight! You’ll get non-stop rapids from start to finish.

Our Sierra Whitewater cook will prepare delicious chicken or turkey and a variety of salads. All our food is fresh, local and homemade! Ice cold drinks will also be provided. Finish it up with a freshly baked brownie to give you some energy for the next section of rafting.

Let's Smash Through Some Class IV and V Rapids!

deric-8-18-blog-photo

We’ll smash our way through challenging class IV and V rapids such as the exhilarating Zig-Zag, Achilles Heal and Bogus Thunder. Then get ready because the famous Chamberlain Falls await!

Finally, we’ll arrive at Lake Clementine before driving back to Raley’s supermarket where our trip will conclude. We hope you enjoyed your American River whitewater rafting experience with Sierra Whitewater!
